Connacht GAA has awarded fifteen Gaelic football players from Mayo with third-level bursaries.
The Connacht Student Bursary Award scheme, which has been in place for fifteen years, awards members of the association who are active members of their higher education club.
Connacht GAA has awarded a record total of 62 third-level students bursaries this year.
The full list of bursary recipients from Mayo is as follows: Liam Connor (University of Limerick, Crossmolina Deel Rovers), Oisin Cronin (ATU Sligo, Balla), Ciara Durkan (DCU, Knockmore LGFA), Sherin El Massry (Trinity College Dublin, Westport LGFA), Luke Feeney (University of Galway, Ballina Stephenites), Cathal Finnerty (University of Limerick, Lahardane MacHales), Senan Guilfoyle (University of Limerick, Eastern Gaels), Jack Keane (University of Galway, Hollymount/Carramore), John MacMonagle (University of Galway, Castlebar Mitchels), Ava McDonnell (University of Galway, St Brigids LGFA), Eoin McGreal (University of Limerick, Garrymore), Colm McHale (University of Limerick, Moy Davitts), Jack Melvin (University of Limerick, Davitts), Gavin Murphy (DCU, Ballintubber), Hugh O’Loughlin (University of Limerick, Kilmaine).
