The date time and venue for the upcoming All Ireland Post Primary Schools Senior A semi-final between St Gerald's Castlebar and Omagh CBS had been confirmed.
The much-anticipated meeting between the Connacht and Ulster champions will take place in Fr Tierney Park, Ballyshannon on Sunday, February 25 at 2pm.
St Gerald's came through a tough Connacht campaign before getting the better of a fine Claregalway side in the decider on Sunday last in Bekan. Defending Ulster champions, Omagh, retained their crown with an impressive 1-18 to 1-12 over St Patrick's Academy Dungannon in their final in Armagh.
The Ballyshannon venue has proven to be a happy hunting ground for Mayo schools in the past when a Ryan O'Donoghue powered Our Lady's Belmullet defeated St Joseph's Crossmaglen in the All Ireland Senior D final in 2014.
