REVEALED: Full list of candidates who will contest Mayo Local Elections 2024

A total of 73 candidates will be on the ballot paper for the Local Elections in Mayo on Friday, June 7.

30 seats on Mayo County Council will be filled in six local electoral areas - Ballina, Belmullet, Castlebar, Claremorris, Swinford and Westport.

Nominations closed at noon on Saturday, May 18 with the following 73 candidates declared.

Ballina Electoral Area - 6 seats

There are 15 candidates for 6 seats in the Ballina LEA.
