Peacefully at her residence. Predeceased by her husband Geoffrey. Deeply regretted by her son Geoffrey, daughters Karen, Sheila and Anita, brother Jimmy Loftus (London), sister in law Briddie Loftus, sons in law Joe Dyra and Pat Hegarty, daughter in law Claire McGowan, grandchildren Tommy (Mary), Steven (Lotus), Christy (Sinead), Katie (Adrian), Hannah, Cathal and Tadhg, great grandchildren Ailbhe, Tony, Emma, Evie, Sophie and Hugo, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Reposing at her residence on Thursday evening from 4 o'clock until 7 o'clock. Removal on Friday morning to St Brendan's Church, Tiernaur for Funeral Mass at 12 o'clock with burial afterwards in Killeen Cemetery. Mary Catherine Bourke Evans, Bedford, England, formerly Tobernavine, Lahardane
The death has occurred of Mary Catherine Bourke Evans in Bedford, England. Mary Catherine Bourke passed away suddenly in her home after a long illness. Formerly of Tobernavine, Lahardane, Co. Mayo and second daughter of the late Thomas (Sonnie) and Mary Bourke (Mayock) and sister of the late Thomas Patrick (T.P. Bourke). Sadly missed by her close sisters, Ellen, Kathleen, Bernie and Nora and brothers in law Patrick,Tommy, T.J. and Noel and their families and grandchildren. Survived by her husband Colin and loving family and grandchildren in England.

19.06.1953 - 19.08.2024. Loved mother of Sarah and Deirdre. Mother-in-law to Victor and Stephen. Adored Granny to Mitchell, Finley, Madeline, Holly and Adam. Daughter of Tommy and Maura (both dec). Sister to Mary, Catherine, Fionnuala, Sheila, John and Tom.

The death has occurred of Mary Kearns, nee Gallagher, Drimindoo, Castlebar Road, Westport and formerly of London and Achill, peacefully at St Fionnan’s Nursing Home on Tuesday 20th August 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her late husband Michael, sister Catherine Mc Namara and niece Mary Angela Collins. She will be sadly missed by her loving sons Alan and Brian, grandchildren Sofia and Ethan, nieces Teresa Gallagher, Anne Forrey, Breda Hughes, nephews Kevin, Padraig and Michael Mc Namara, her in-laws Gerald and Kathleen King, Elizabeth and Stephen Hassett, Sean and Anna Kearns and Eamon Kearns and her many relatives and friends.
Reposing in Lavelle’s Funeral Home, Cashel, Achill Island on Thursday evening from 4.30pm until 6pm with removal to the Church of the Assumption, Dookinella arriving at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning, 23rd August at 10am with burial afterwards in Aughaval Cemetery Westport.

Patrick Joseph of Ballyhaunis Road, Claremorris, Co. Mayo and formerly of Erne Street, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. Ex Garda Siochana. Died peacefully surrounded by his family at home following a short illness. Patrick will be forever loved and sadly missed by his loving wife Frances, adored daughter Cathy, sons Desmond and Nigel, daughters-in-law Mary and Cecelia, son-in-law Brian, grandchildren Gillian, Andrew, Megan, Evan, Conor and Eva. He will be sadly missed by his sister Mary, brothers-in-law Brendan, Michael and Freddie, sisters-in-law Carmel, Betty and Ann, wider family, friends, neighbours and former colleagues of An Garda Siochana.
