Mayo Gardaí detained an unlicensed taxi recently in the Castlebar area after an intelligence-led operation involving Compliance Officers from the National Transport Authority along with members of Mayo Roads Policing Unit.
An Garda Síochána Mayo along with The National Transport Authority will continue to proactively target, investigate, prosecute and to eradicate the illegal provision of unlicensed services to the public by unlicensed drivers and vehicles.
