MICHAEL (Mick) Gaynard from Derrymore, Hollymount, Mayo, reached the 100 milestone last Thursday.
Friends of Mick joined in the good wishes to a man whose home was a ‘rambling house’ for so many down through the years.

Sharing the same birthday on Thursday (March 19) with Mick were Seán Fallon from Lehinch and Michael Mannix from Purranes.
Mattie Joe Connolly, the legendary Garrymore goalie who won six Mayo senior club medals with Garrymore, celebrated his birthday on Friday, while another neighbour, Tom Hughes (Small Tom), celebrated his birthday the previous week.
Congratulations and best wishes are extended to all of them on their special occasions.
