An Garda Síochána Mayo have extended its thanks to the Claremorris-based garda for her service

Garda Melanie McGowan of Claremorris Garda Station has retired after over 30 years of service. 

Sharing the announcement to their social media, An Garda Síochána Mayo said:

“Melanie was an integral part of the Claremorris Community Engagement area and will be missed by many.” 

An Garda Síochána Mayo also extended their thanks to Melanie and wished her a happy retirement.
