An Garda Síochána are currently clearing the incident, with diversions in place via the L1504 and the R320 Claremorris-Kiltimagh road.
Mayo Gardaí are currently attending the scene of a collision on the N60 Claremorris-Castlebar road.
The incident, which occurred between Balla and Claremorris, has resulted in a partial closure of the route between the Facefield turn-off and Claremorris.
