Claremorris man Denis O’Boyle has recently been re-elected by the Association of Secondary Teachers Ireland (ASTI) Standing Committee to represent the ASTI on the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU) Retired Workers Committee for 2025 to 2027.
Denis is a member of the West Mayo ASTI Branch and the Castlebar and District Trade Union Council.
He is a former chairperson of the ASTI Pensions Sub Committee and a former Director of Mayo Education Centre. Denis recently attended the first meeting of the new committee at the ICTU offices in Dublin.
