Punters from Mayo and beyond will mark these dates in their calendar.
Ballinrobe Racecourse is gearing up for a thrilling and event-filled July, headlined by Tote Raceday on Monday, July 21 — now celebrating its 12th year of proud partnership between Tote Ireland and Ballinrobe Racecourse.
Tote Ireland, a subsidiary of Horse Racing Ireland, has been a loyal and enthusiastic supporter of Ballinrobe Racecourse, sponsoring the full seven-race card each year since 2013.

This strong relationship has grown steadily over the years and continues to flourish, benefitting both the local community and the wider Irish racing industry.
John Flannelly, Ballinrobe Racecourse Manager, commented: “Having a fully sponsored card by Tote Ireland is absolutely invaluable to us at Ballinrobe.
This partnership has grown and strengthened over the past 12 years, and having the support of a sponsor like Tote Ireland — who truly understands and values what we do — is hugely important.
We have a fantastic relationship with General Manager, Lynda Reilly and all her team and their continued support has allowed us to develop this race day into a very successful fixture on our calendar."
The action on July 21 gets underway at 5:30pm with a seven-race all-flat card, featuring the Download The Tote App Handicap, offering a prize fund of €25,000 and contested over 1 mile and 4 furlongs on the inner loop.
Speaking ahead of the event, General Manager of Tote Ireland Lynda Reilly says: “We’re incredibly proud to mark 12 years of partnership with Ballinrobe Racecourse.
This sponsorship is about more than just races on the day — it’s about supporting a long-standing local venue, connecting with the racing community, and contributing to the long-term sustainability of Irish racing.
Ballinrobe offers a unique and welcoming atmosphere, and we’re delighted to continue playing a role in its success. I’m sure it will be a fantastic day of racing.”
In addition to action on track, Monday 21st July is also Family Day, offering a wide range of free kids’ activities including face painting, colouring competition, giant games, a bouncy castle, and teacup rides.
Children under 14 go free when accompanied by an adult, making it the perfect opportunity for families to enjoy a day out at the races.
The action continues on Tuesday, 22nd July with an evening of National Hunt racing, followed by the ever-popular Mike Denver Race Dance, hosted in conjunction with the Ballinrobe Festival.
One ticket grants access to both the races and the dance for just €15, offering exceptional value and a full evening of entertainment.
