A Mayo woman recently celebrated a windfall of €45,000 on a National Lottery 'Fire 4s Ice 5s' scratch card, that she picked up from Kavanagh’s SuperValu at The Square in Claremorris.
“I was doing my weekly grocery shopping, and that specific scratch card caught my eye – it was the first time I've ever purchased it. Even after the win, I bought another one that had a €25 prize on it!”, said the woman to the National Lottery.
Although it’s taken some time from the shock of win to settle in, the woman is now planning to put her newfound fortunes towards a trip to Romania.
