Christmas market details dropped for Mayo town

Just another Christmas market option in Mayo. Mark it in your diary: The Festive Christmas Market & Newport Christmas Lights Switch-On, and Tractor Run, will take place on Sunday December 7, from 4pm to 7pm.

It will be a fun-filled, festive family evening, with the Christmas lights switch-on ceremony by the main man, Santa, Tractor Run, a street market, carol singers, music, and more.

Local businesses, artists, bakers, knitters, jewellers, candle makers, etc., will have stalls on the day to get Newport in the Christmas spirit and let everyone know that Newport is open for business! The Newport Business Association is promoting the BLINC (Buy Local In Newport this Christmas) campaign, which will be up and running!

If you are interested in having a stall or getting involved, please email nbanewport@gmail.com or call or text Sharon on 087 2247960 for more information and to book your spot.

You will be responsible for your own setup and lighting; stall €35.00. Don't miss out on the festive fun.
