The Castlebar St Patrick’s Day celebrations took on Tuesday, March 17, beginning at 12 noon. Retired Defence Forces Captain Adrian Coady was appointed as the Grand Marshal for the 2026 parade.
The year’s theme was “One Island-Many Voices”. A sensory-friendly area was set up on Chapel Street to ensure the event was enjoyed comfortably for everyone. Photographer Alison Laredo was there to capture all the colour of a memorable parade.
