This year’s Palliative Care Week campaign runs from September 7 to 13 .

Mayo Hospice, who were set to host Coffee Connect in Castlebar as part of Palliative Care Week on Monday, September 8 have postponed to a later date. The date is yet to be confirmed.

This year’s Palliative Care Week campaign runs from September 7 to 13 with this year's theme being “Living for Today, Planning for Tomorrow.” The campaign highlights the impact of palliative care and the impact it can have on patients as well as families.

Mayo Hospice as a palliative care service, is in place to improve the quality of life at any stage of a life-limiting illness. The service can also be a support to the families of those in palliative care.
