The dispute over the decision to relocate school bus drop-off and pick-up points from Davitt College in Castlebar to Stephen Garvey Way has been partially resolved, following significant engagement from Minister Alan Dillon with local schools and Bus Éireann.

Having spoken with Bus Éireann, Minister Dillon has confirmed that the current arrangement for Davitt College will remain in place from September. The focus now shifts to identifying a suitable solution for students attending St Joseph’s Secondary School, Castlebar.
