Members of the No Name Club Crossmolina at the No Name Club Talent Show in Athlone
Two Mayo youth groups have earned rave reviews for their performances at the ‘No Name’s Got Talent’ show in Athlone.
The No Name clubs in Claremorris and Crossmolina both took to the stage at the landmark event hosted by the No Name group, an organisation established to provide those in their late teens with a fun and safe place to socialise without the pressures of alcohol and drugs.

At the event on Saturday, April 26, at Athlone’s Dean Crowe Theatre, groups from across the country came together to showcase their talents and take in some of the best the country had to offer.
First to the stage from Mayo were the Claremorris group, who performed a strong lip-syncing rendition of the iconic Journey hit ‘Don’t Stop Believing’. The troupe received strong reviews for their performance from the judging panel for their fun and dynamic performance.
Next up on the Mayo front were Crossmolina. The young group were given plaudits by the judges for their synchronization and on-stage energy in their dance to a selection of Hannah Montana songs.
Both the No Name Club Claremorris and the No Name Club Crossmolina are looking for people between the ages of 15 and 18 to join them.
