Mayo business Corrib Oil officially re-opened their Castlebar store after a six-week refurbishment process.
The store, which employs 44 people, cut the ribbon on Friday evening, and includes a new partnership with Mexican food store Zambrero.

As part of the opening, Zambrero offered 100 free burritos to the first lucky people through the door.
Corrib Oil’s Head of Retail, Gillian Morris, believes that the development of the premises is important to serving the people of Mayo’s county town.
“We’re excited to be officially re-opening our Castlebar store. We have been growing our retail footprint over recent years, reflecting our firm focus on meeting the fuel, retail, home heating and food needs of local communities.”
The business, founded in Claremorris, have announced plans to expand their number of premises to 100 by 2030, creating 1,200 new jobs nationwide.
