N5 Business Park in Castlebar
Planning permission has been sought to extend the N5 Business Park in Castlebar to include seven retail warehouse units and five commercial units.
Primbrook Investments Ltd have applied to Mayo County Council for permission for the development of a mixed use scheme which will adjoin and form part of an extension to the existing N5 Business Park at Moneenbradagh, Castlebar.
The proposed development will consist of one block consisting seven retail warehouse units comprising 8,166 square metres gross floor space including an anchor unit with ancillary garden centre area. The block will be part two-storey, part double height single storey with void and/or mezzanine configuration.

The second block will comprise five commercial units in two-storey configuration comprising 8,918 square metres.
The proposed development will include a vehicular and pedestrian / cycle access via a new junction to the old N5 Dublin road connecting with the existing N5 Business Park from the Moneen Road.
A number of retail businesses are currently situated in the existing N5 Business Park including Broderick Electrical, Snap Printing, Castlebar Motor Factors and Walter Donoghue Carpet and Blinds.
