Westport Chamber of Commerce is delighted to host a Breakfast Briefing entitled ‘Changes in Employment Law for 2024’.
From pension to minimum wage, from sick pay to remote work, 2024 is set to be a year of continued developments in employment law.
This Breakfast briefing will provide employers with an essential overview of the most up-to-date changes in employment legislation including: Statutory Sick Pay, Domestic Violence Leave, Flexible Working, Protected Disclosures, Probation etc.
With all the ongoing updates, it can be hard for employers to keep up with the changing landscape.
Yet, knowing the ins and outs of what’s coming is crucial to interacting with your employees and protecting your business. The hour long session will showcase the different pieces of Employment Legislation alongside new developments in remote and flexible working.
The event takes place at 9am on Tuesday next, February 20 in Westport’s Leeson Enterprise Centre.(F28ET85). Noreen Coyne, People Matters Founder and Managing Consultant will lead the seminar. Noreen is an HR Consultant with over 25 years of experience at a senior level in Human Resources and Training.
Her breadth of expertise in dealing with Human Resources comes from working across the service, manufacturing, retail, and not-for-profit sectors in small and large companies, private and multi-national.
Westport Chamber of Commerce welcomes all local employers and businesses to this information session, the event is planned for sixty minutes and a complimentary Buffet Breakfast will be provided.
