A Mayo business is dusting off the suits and dresses this Friday, as they make their way to Dublin for the National Customer Experience Awards.
Blacksod Sea Safari have been nominated for the 'Tourism and Hospitality' section of the prestigious event, set to award those who bring the very best in service and experience for consumers around the country.
The Erris-based business offer the opportunity for people to explore the Atlantic Ocean in all its glory as they meander along the Wild Atlantic Way.
Michael Keane, and his team at Blacksod Sea Safari, can add this nomination to their ever-growing list of rewards and accolades they have scooped since their inception.
Michael was overjoyed when he spoke in the wake of the nomination.
“We’re absolutely delighted to be nominated for a national Customer Experience Award," he stated. "For us, every tour is personal.
"We want people to feel the magic of this coastline and leave with memories that last a lifetime. It’s a real honour to see a small local business like ours recognised on this level.”
The awards will take place at a black-tie event at the Royal Marine Hotel, Dún Laoghaire, on Friday, October 24, at 6.30 pm.
There will be a drinks reception at 6.30 pm. Time will tell if Michael and his team will be toasting victory by the end of the night.
