Mayo road set to close to facilitate recovery of a lorry

The road closure is set to take place for two hours this afternoon and diversions will be in place for traffic travelling between Belmullet and Ballina

Mayo Road set to close to facilitate recovery of a lorry

Mayo County Council has confirmed that the N95 between Bangor and Bellacorick at Ballymunnelly will be closed to traffic from 2 pm to 4pm, this afternoon (October 6). The closure will facilitate the recovery of a lorry.

Traffic travelling between Belmullet and Ballina is advised to use the R314 through Ballycastle. 

Traffic travelling from Castlebar is advised to use the N59 through Newport to Mulranny and Bangor.

Mayo County Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
