The two photos taken by Ryan Gallagher that won a silver and a bronze medal.
Mayo photographer Ryan Gallagher from Belmullet hasn't won just one but two awards in the IPPVA 2025 Spring Photography Competition.
The IPPVA is the Irish Professional Photographers & Videographers Association.
Ryan Gallagher won a silver medal for a photo of Niamh & Oisín’s beautiful day at Belleek Castle, such a timeless and beautiful setting.
And he received a bronze medal, which was taken during Caroline & Anthony’s wedding shoot, with perfect light and the majestic Croagh Patrick watching over them.
Gallagher wrote online: "Thanks so much to the IPPVA judges and committee for all the work they put in on the awards and throughout the year, it’s a real privilege to be part of such a passionate community of photographers and videographers.
As most of you know, I’ve an exciting weekend coming up on the other side of the camera, so I’ll be away from my laptop for a little while. If you’re getting in touch with enquiries, just bear with me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can."
