Mayo missing person case stood down as Gardaí issue update

Limerick man James Cummins was last seen on Quay Road in Ballina and was reported missing in Castlebar.

An Garda Síóchána in Mayo have stated that a 25-year-old who went missing in Ballina over the weekend has been located safe and well.

On the evening of Sunday, November 9, Limerick native James Cummins was reported missing to Castlebar Garda Station.

James was last seen in the early hours of Monday morning, travelling on the Quay Road in Ballina, walking towards the town centre.

This morning, it was confirmed that the man was safely located. Gardaí extended thanks to all who assisted in finding him.
