Mayo Gardaí tackle car fire in Ballina town centre last evening

The event took place yesterday evening, and it is unclear as to what started the blaze

Mayo Gardaí attended the scene of a car fire which took place in Ballina yesterday (Monday, July 14).

At approximately 9:45 pm, An Garda Síochána attended the scene of the fire on Market Square in the town.

Video footage from the scene appeared to show a maroon Nissan vehicle ablaze outside Imprint Gas and Electrical Service Centre.

It is unclear as to what caused the fire, and no injuries were reported from the scene.
