For boys and girls alike, the GAA's Cúl camps are an essential part of the summer right across the country. In this latest episode of the Mayo News Football Podcast, Mike Finnerty visits the Mayo GAA Cúl Camp at Hollymount/Carramore GAA club to talk with some of the coaches who are working at grassroots level in the county.

The pod features a lengthy chat with Mayo GAA Games Manager Billy McNicholas about the secret of the Cúl Camp’s success and what is being done to ensure Mayo continue to produce good young players. Billy also reminisces about coaching future Mayo stars like Conor Mortimer, Cillian O’Connor and Pearce Hanley back in the day.

Mike also talks to the newest member of the Mayo GAA coaching team, Denise Fahy, and one of the Cúl Camp coaches, Liam Óg Horkan from Garrymore.
