Best thing about playing for the club?
Playing with all my mates every week, even if the quality is poor, the craic is good.

Best thing about social distancing?
Can’t hear anyone around me when I’m playing bad and they all want to give out.

Worst thing about social distancing?
Can’t hear anyone around me when I’m playing well and someone is praising me.

Best thing about wearing a mask?
Saves me money on buying any shaving products.  

What’s your guilty pleasure TV show?
Coronation Street, and it’s all the mother’s fault.

Which three celebrity guests would you invite over for a party?
Tommy Tiernan, he’s definitely up for a party the whole time. Jack Grealish, I’m a Villa fan so ask him why he left. Gareth Brooks, to provide the entertainment for five nights.

What’s your most prized possession at the moment?
Christian Dior shoes. They often make an appearance on a big night out.

First thing you’ll do when Covid restrictions are scrapped?
Holiday, it’s been too long.

One old match you’d love to watch back?
Mayo vs Dublin 2006. McDonald was a menace that day.

County player you’d most like to room with?
Padraig O’Hora. I bet that man has stories.

Favourite post-match meal and drink?
Pizza and a bottle of beer.

Favourite song to get ‘up’ for a match?
Gimmie gimmie gimmie by ABBA.

Best advice you ever got?
As long as you work as hard as you can and give 100% you can be proud of what you’ve done.

Last time you cried?
When my favorite pair of boots split halfway through the season.

A perfect day.
