Best thing about social distancing?
Matty Flanagan has to be two metres away when he’s giving out to you!

Worst thing about social distancing?
It’s near impossible to try and organise anything with friends.

What’s your guilty pleasure TV show?
My nan and I are huge fans of The Chase!

Which three celebrity guests would you invite over for a party?
Jack Nicholson, Denis Rodman and Samuel L. Jackson. I could imagine they would have some stories to tell!

What’s your most prized possession at the moment?
My 04 Black Ford C-Max. Just passed the NCT so there’s still life in the old dog yet!

First thing you’ll do when Covid restrictions are scrapped?
Go to America for a J1, have had to cancel the last two years.

One old match you’d love to watch back?
Minor ‘A’ semi-final 2017, Balla v Parke. A bloodbath to say the least!

County player you’d most like to room with?
TJ Reid, unbelievable player!

Favourite post-match meal and drink?
Pizza and a pint of Guinness.

Favourite song to get ‘up’ for a match?
The Bee Gees’ ‘Staying Alive” or Wild Cherry ‘Play That Funky Music’. All-time classics!

Best advice you ever got?
I remember Tommy Higgins telling us in an Under-12 challenge match, “It’s not about the size of the dog in the fight, it’s about the size of the fight in the dog”.

Last time you cried?
One minute before closing time in the Western Farming Co-op and we were in a rush to get out. A customer shot in with a jeep and trailer looking for two tonnes of fertiliser, reckoned he was ‘badly stuck’. Not the first time we’ve heard that line!

Sum up the last year in three words?
Unpredictable. Challenging. Enjoyable.
