What’s your idea of perfect happiness?
The couple of days around Christmas time. Everyone is in good form and there aren’t too many responsibilities. Them few days are perfectly happy.

Which living person do you most admire?
With a big family, I have plenty of family members that aren’t bad role models to have.

What’s your greatest extravagance?
Eating out.

What’s your favourite journey?
From the dressing rooms in Mayo Abbey to the pitch for a big game.

What or who is the love of your life?
My bed.

When and where were you happiest?
There was only two days between the Sigerson semi-final and final last year, and I remember thinking at the time, ‘It would be great if there was a couple more days in between’, because the bubble we were in was electric.

Which talent would you most like to have?
I’d like to be able to take in and learn information much easier.

What’s your greatest achievement?
I’d like to think that’s still to come.

What’s your most treasured possession?
I actually don’t have any material item that I would call indispensable.

What’s your favourite pass time?
Binge watching Netflix shows. Looking forward to Power, season six.

What’s the quality you most like in a person?
Positivity.

Who are your favourite footballers?
Michael Murphy, definitely. Then there is a whole list of Mayo players who are great to watch on the big summer days.

What’s your motto?
It’s not about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.
