Mayo name same starting 15 for Kerry game

THERE are no changes in personnel to the Mayo team for Sunday’s All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-final against Kerry.
The only alteration to the starting 15 that lined out against Cork in the quarter-final sees defenders Tom Cunniffe and Keith Higgins swap corners. Trevor Mortimer, who had been doubtful with a quad injury, has been named at left half-back.
There is one change on the bench, where Ballinrobe’s Kenneth O’Malley comes in as substitute goalkeeper in place of David Clarke. Ballina man Clarke damaged knee ligaments playing for his club against Claremorris in the last round of the Mayo Senior Championship.
Peadar Gardiner, who suffered a hamstring injury in Crossmolina’s defeat by Ballintubber, is also named among the substitutes.
