Slogger and London
Born in Slogger in 1929 to parents Martin and Mary Walsh. Tina worked in the Westport Shoe Factory until 1954 when she married Tom Gallagher (RIP) Carnaclay and emigrated to London where she worked in a private London school as a chef and worked there happily until she retired.
Tina and Tom loved their garden and spent many happy hours in their London allotment growing flowers and vegetables. Tina had a great sense of humour, a smile and a laugh that would light up any room.
She is survived by her son Frank, daughter-in-law Linda, grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Mattie (Glenisland), sisters Kathleen Henehan and Susannah Moylett (Chicago), Belinda Tunney (Cushin) brother-in-law Peadar Tunney, sister-in-law Belinda Walsh (Slogger), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and many more relatives and friends in Westport and Chiswick. Predeceased by brothers Martin (USA) Mick (England) Johnny(Slogger) baby Patrick and Frank (London). Burial will take place in Chiswick cemetery on Friday, May 15, 2020.
