Noreen Cremins-Flynn

North Andover, Boston and Ballinrobe Road, Westport
The death took place on Saturday October 22, 2011 of Mrs Noreen Cremins- Flynn (aged 59 years) at her home surrounded by her loving family, including her husband, children and all seven of her brothers and sisters. Noreen fought a brave battle with breast cancer for twelve years.
Noreen was born on May 13, 1952 in Westport to the late Jim and Annie Cremins. She was a graduate of The Sacred Heart School, Westport, attended Nursing School at Whipps Cross University in London and Middlesex Community College, England. Noreen moved to Massachussetts in 1975 and had resided in North Andover since 1995. As a registered nurse Noreen’s passion was to improve the healthcare and welfare of her patients. She served as an RN for twenty- four years in a variety of hospitals including Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas, Mount Auburn in Cambridge and Sutton Hill Centre Nursing Home in North Andover.
Noreen was very proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed taking trips to Westport to visit her family. Her hobbies included cooking, gardening, participating with her friends in a book club and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother that attended every ball game, dance recital, wedding and graduation. She was a very loveable, gregarious woman who loved to strike up a conversation with anyone.
Noreen is survived by her husband, Dr. Daniel Flynn, children, Connor Daniel Flynn (aged 24 years) and Danielle Evangeline Flynn (aged 21), daugher-in-law Kamila Budzicz Flynn and grandson Seán Connor Flynn (aged 2), siblings James Cremins and his wife Ann (Boston), Tom Cremins and his wife Ann (Boston), Peter Cremins and his wifeAnne (Westport), John Cremins and his wife Maureen (Westport), Maureen Foley and her late husband Jackie (Westport), Joan Cremins (Boston), Nancy St Ledger and her husband James (Co. Cork), several nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great- nephews. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday October 26 in St. Michael’s Church, North Andover and burial took place in Ridgewood Cemetery afterwards.
Month’s Mind Mass on Sunday, November 27, in St. Mary’s Church, Westport, at 10.00am.
