A popular Mayo couple celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary in a very special way when they returned to the same venue where they were married 50 years ago.
Peter and Maureen Mullen from Sheroe, Westport returned to the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport on Saturday, June 21, to celebrate on the same day, date, and venue as their Wedding Day in 1975.
The couple's wedding photograph (above) appeared in The Mayo News back in 1975. Peter and Maureen are wished many more happy years together with continued good health and happiness.
