A Mayo rugby boys team is set to travel to North Wales this weekend.

Westport RFC Boys U-12's Minis are to participate in the Welsh Rugby Festival Adventure. They are travelling to Colwyn Bay, Wales on Friday, March 27, for the North Wales Rugby Festival.

Set against the scenic backdrop of Snowdonia, the coaches and the squad has been preparing and are now looking forward to the weekend tour.

The end of season trip will see them competing against U-12 teams from across Ireland and the UK making for an enjoyable and a memorable sporting experience. A big thanks to all locally who supported their fundraising efforts and to the business sponsors who made the trip possible.
