On Thursday, November 20, in Castlebar Library, historian and the rugby club committee member Noel Campbell, will deliver an illustrated talk on the history of rugby in Castlebar.
From the rise in popularity of the sport and the birth of the club in 1885, the talk will also cover the personalities that grew the young club, successes on and off the field, challenges faced throughout the decades and the important role the club continues to play in the sporting life of Castlebar.
