Diversions in place as Irish Rail Mayo emergency works to get underway

The L-5113, also known as the Primrose Road in Ballina, will be closed to facilitate Irish Rail level crossing repairs

Irish Rail have announced upgrade works to one of their Mayo level crossings.

On Tuesday, July 29, and Wednesday, July 30, the level crossing in Ballina, at Primrose Road (also known as the L-5113), will be closed between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm.

Local diversions will be in place for the duration of the works, with the L-1122 Creggaun Road remaining open to commuters.
