Gardaí have issued an update on the Irish teenager who had been missing for over a week after disappearing just a few months ago.

16-year-old Jordan Holden was reported missing from Carlow Town and had not been seen since Saturday, January 17th.

Gardaí have advised that he has been located and is "safe and well."

There had been some concern for Jordan's well-being while he was missing.

This year was second time that the teenager had been reported as missing.

A missing person appeal was issued in October of last year, when Jordan was just 15-years-old.

He had been reported missing from Passage East in Co. Waterford, and was located on the same day.

An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
