Collin Farrell and Margot Robbie on The Today Show USA

Colin Farrell had the people of Ireland howling after dropping the f-bomb on live tv in the US recently.

The Irish actor was joined by Margot Robbie to promote their new movie 'A Big Bold Beautiful Journey' on The Today Show USA when Colin's media training went out of the window!

Colin and Margot both tried the famously Irish Tayto crisp sandwiches when Colin lost all self-control.

After one bite Colin said: "Is that Tayto? I f%%king knew it!". And his reaction afterwards says it all!

Irish people were left howling at the Irish actor's f-bomb, with comments from people who said the funny moment had made their day.

One person said: "The head shake and the eye roll said it all. Bless him. When the food is good, the food is GOOD. Language goes out the f-ing Window! lol".

Another person said: "Can take Irishman out of Ireland but you can't take the Irish out of the Irishman" and "It's the Irish in him".
