Driver issued fine and penalty points after being caught speeding in school zone
An Garda Síochána in Longford said they detected a vehicle travelling at 98 km/h in a 50 km/h school zone last week.
The gardaí said that the vehicle was stopped by Longford Roads Policing Unit once it was detected going over the speed limit in the school zone.
The driver has been issued a €160 fine and 3 penalty points.
