Gardaí have appealed for witnesses

Man, 20s, seriously injured after crash in Co Donegal
A man, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Co Donegal.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal, single-vehicle road traffic collision which occurred on the R240 at Cross, Quigley’s Point, Co. Donegal at approximately 11.15pm on Saturday, August 24. 

The passenger, a man in his teens, was fatally injured. The driver, a man in his 20s, was taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast, for treatment of injuries which are believed to be serious.

A spokesperson for the garda said that the road will remain closed this morning to allow for an examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
