Gardaí have arrested a motorist for driving at twice the speed limit on a regional road.
The Naas Roads Policing Unit were carrying out speed checks recently when they detected the car travelling at 160km/h in an 80km/h area.
When stopped, the driver was arrested for dangerous driving.
Court is to follow.
