Celebrations as shop sells €300,000 winning scratch card for just €15

Excitement has swept through a county town as the local shop sold a €15 All Cash Gold scratch card leading to a whopping €300,000 top prize win.

The fortunate winner of the windfall, made a memorable start to the new year, turning a routine purchase from the Londis on Cleveragh Road in Co Sligo into a life-changing event.

Shop owner Declan McCrann was overjoyed to learn that one of his customers struck gold during the festive season. McCrann expressed his delight, stating: "What a start to the new year for one of our customers with a visit to Lotto Headquarters to pick up a cheque for €300,000.

"This is our biggest win that we have ever had, and for it to be on a scratch card is great because I think players sometimes assume that they’ll never win the top prize, and now one of our customers is proof that it really can be anyone!"

The Londis store has been a hub for the local community, and McCrann believes that this significant win will inspire others to try their luck.
