Ireland West Airport is celebrating 40 years in operation, and to mark the milestone, the airport is calling on long-time commuters to share their stories.
The airport is looking to speak with people who regularly travel from Ireland West Airport to any destination for work, whether weekly or monthly, and have been doing so for several years.
“These short interviews will highlight the airport’s role in connecting the people of Mayo and the West with vital opportunities, business links, and onward travel,” a spokesperson said. “Your journey is part of our story.”
Anyone interested in taking part can reach out via direct message on the airport’s social media channels or by emailing marketing@irelandwestairport.com.
This initiative gives the airport a chance to showcase the impact it has had on local businesses, careers, and communities over four decades, while celebrating the people whose regular travel has helped connect Mayo to the wider world.
