Over Saturday, Mayo can expect a generally dry day with a mix of cloud and occasional sunny breaks, particularly in the afternoons. Temperatures will reach around 13 to 15 °C, under light winds.
Overnight, skies will clear somewhat, and mist or fog may develop in places, with lows near 4 to 11 °C.
On Sunday, conditions remain relatively settled.
There’ll be scattered light showers or drizzle in some spots, but people will mostly see plenty of dry spells. Highs will again be in the 13 to 16 °C range, with mild and light winds throughout.
The forecast will be seen as a welcome one to those travelling to outdoor events in the county, both in the sporting sphere and beyond.
