An Garda Síochána Mayo has revealed a significant quantity of drugs were seized on Tuesday, April 1.
On Tuesday, the MRL Drugs Unit conducted an operation targeting the sale of drugs in Shrule.

Following the issue of a warrant, a search of a premises in the town revealed a significant amount of cannabis, amphetamine (speed), and ‘magic mushrooms’ (psilocybin). The drugs were seized along with a quantity of cash.
The suspected drugs will be analysed. Upon the expected confirmation of the presence of said harmful substances, a file will be submitted to the Director of Public Prosecutions seeking charges for drug dealing offences.
