An Garda Síochána has issued a fresh appeal for witnesses in the wake of the collision
Gardaí in Mayo have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses in the wake of the February 28 collision in the N17 between Knock Airport and Charlestown.
A cyclist in his 60s was found at around 12.20 pm on Friday, February 28, and was taken to hospital via ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

Now, in the wake of his passing, they have renewed their appeals for witnesses.
The cyclist was travelling towards Charlestown coming from the direction of Knock Airport. Anyone who was travelling the N17 between the times of 11.45 am and 12.20 pm who may have video footage (including dashcam footage) are asked to make the footage available to the Gardaí.
Those with any information on the incident are asked to contact Swinford Garda Station (094 925 2990), the Gardaí’s Confidential Line (1800 666 111), or any Garda station.
