Mayo mourns the passing of Róisín Cryan

Leitrim native Róisín Cryan, who was working in Ballina in Mayo, is to be laid to rest

MAYO communities are mourning the passing of Leitrim native Róisín Cryan, who is to be laid to rest later this week. 

Ms Cryan, of Ard Na Sí, Attyrory, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim, had been working in Ballina before her passing earlier this week. She was engaged to Mayo and Crossmolina footballer, Conor Loftus.

She will repose at The Heritage Centre, Chapel of Rest, Church Lane, Carrick-on-Shannon (N41 KP62) on Monday, January 13 from 3 pm until 7 pm.

Removal to St Mary’s Church, Carrick-on-Shannon will take place on Tuesday evening arriving at 6 o’clock.

Her Funeral Mass will take on Wednesday at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Drumlion Cemetery.

House strictly private at all times.

She was pre-deceased by grandparents William and Mai Cryan, Bernard and Annie Donohue, her cousin Michael, aunt Mary and uncle Hughie.

She will be sadly missed by her parents Joe and Marguerite, loving fiancé Conor Loftus, adored sisters Annmarie, Clare, Ruth and Maeve, Clare’s fiancé Eugene, the Loftus family, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours, work colleagues and a large circle of friends.

May she rest in peace.
