Art students from Sancta Maria College in Louisburgh pictured at the Pilgrims Rest Nursing home where they decorated all the windows for Christmas.
Just before Christmas, a group of five students from Sancta Maria College, Louisburgh brought colour, joy and great artistry to the residents of The Pilgrims Rest Nursing Home at Barley Hill.
They spent one morning decorating the windows in beautiful Christmas scenes.
The students represent the 5th year art class from the school under the guidance of their art teacher Mr Tom O'Flynn.
The wonderfully decorated windows are a source of great excitement among the resident, staff and visitors to the home.
The Pilgrims Rest Nursing Home are very grateful to the students, their teacher and college for organising and producing such wonderful Christmas scenes. We wish them well in their upcoming competition in Dublin where on March 3 and 4, 2025, where the students will be representing the school and county in the Junk Kouture world finals, which is a fashion competition where students design create and model fashion made from recycled items. The residents and staff at the Pilgrims Rest wishes everyone a very happy Christmas and all the best for 2025.
