Big European victory for Mayo solicitor

Callan Tansey’s Joint Managing Partner Mr David O’Malley was among lawyers recognised at the 2024 European Legal Awards in Budapest this week. Mr O’Malley, Joint Managing Partner in Callan Tansey’s Medical Negligence Department ,was recognised in the Medical Law category.
The judges noted in particular his contribution to 'working tirelessly for his clients who remain central to his endeavour'. Now in their fifth year, the European Legal Awards were created to promote excellence and knowledge through teaching, research, and pro-active networking.
David O’Malley expressed his delight at the award, stating: “This represents a big team effort from all at Callan Tansey and it is nice to be recognised. We shall keep striving to ensure access to Justice for our clients and fighting the good fight.”
Other winners on the night included Garret Farrelly, Matheson LLP and UK Lawyer Jason McCue, Humans Rights Lawyer. David was greatly supported by a wonderful Callan Tansey presence. The awards are great recognition for all award winners.
