Mayo woman to feature on popular RTÉ game show

Nichola and Martina on series two, episode two of The Money List

Mayo native Martina Farrell from Killala will feature on the second episode of series two of The Money List.

The RTÉ game show, hosted by Baz Ashmawy, returns on Saturday, November 2 at 9.20pm and Sunday, November 3 at 6.30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.

The series will air every Saturday and Sunday across five weeks.

The Money List is a quiz where two teams of strangers compete for a huge cash prize by completing a series of lists.

The more lists they complete, the more money they win. The lists can be about anything, from ‘Presidents of the USA’ to ‘Madonna Hit Singles’. When the list title is revealed, each team offers a bid on how many correct answers they think they can name. The teams play from inside soundproof pods, meaning their opponents can’t hear their game strategy or how many answers they might know.

The team with the highest bid gets to play the list. If they successfully name the required number of correct answers, they win. The first team to win two lists gets to play for €15,000.

In episode two, the champions will take on new challengers or the chance to win €15,000.

Who will go on to face new challengers Nichola from Wicklow and Martina from Mayo?
