The hub will be located on the Great Western Greenway near Mulranny
Europe’s first automated Greenway Children’s Disability Cycling Hub will be opened in Mulranny tomorrow.
Ministers Jack Chambers and Dara Calleary will open Europe’s very first automated Greenway Children’s Disability Cycling Hub at Mulranny Park Hotel tomorrow, Saturday, October 12 at 1pm. The hub is being launched by Variety-the Children’s Charity of Ireland, who are ‘delighted’ to announce the launch of Europe’s first automated Greenway Children’s Disability Cycling Hub.
This automated disability cycling hub is situated at the entrance to The Great Western Greenway at The Mulranny Park Hotel.
Minister of State at the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage Alan Dillon, Minister of State at the Department of Health and at the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth Anne Rabbitte, and Deputy Michael Ring will also be attending along with children with disabilities from the local area.
This self-automated disability cycling hub includes a range of special disability mobility trikes that cater for children aged from five to 18 years.
Each trike is fitted with the latest in digital technology where parents or guardians of children with mobility issues can hire a trike 365 days of the year at the Steed App which is available for free download at Google Play and Apple Store.
Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ireland is a not-for-profit charity, who for the past 75 years in Ireland, has continued to help and assist children with disabilities.
